Anchorage Broadcasting Network

Official Network Constitution

Constitution of the Anchorage Broadcasting Network
Owner: The Orange Puppy (decemberty)
Status: Active & Binding
anchoragebroadcasting@gmail.com
The Anchorage Broadcasting Network is an independent, external broadcasting system created to share, document, and expand the experience of the Minecraft world through media. It is designed to be free in expression, but structured in coordination — ensuring clarity without restricting creativity.
Article I

Identity & Ownership

ABN is a fully external network with no dependency on any Minecraft server. Ownership belongs to The Orange Puppy (decemberty), who holds final authority over all rules, permissions, and exceptions. The Owner may act at any time without requiring consensus.

Article II

Nature of the Network

ABN operates manually and independently, without plugins, APIs, or mods. All broadcasts are recorded externally and produced by players. Any broadcasting service must maintain an in-game station for recording, presentation, and authenticity.

Article III

Authorization to Broadcast

Broadcasting requires approval. Only the following may request authorization:

  • A Mayor
  • A Mayor-trusted individual

Unauthorized broadcasting is not recognized by ABN.

Article IV

Participation & Identity

Approved broadcasters may represent towns, cities, or nations. Each service must maintain a clear identity and avoid impersonation. Conflicting identities may be forced to change by the Owner.

Article V

Credit Requirement

Credit to ABN is required at the start and end of each broadcast session. Continuous or per-content credit is not required. Reused content must still credit original creators.

Article VI

Advertising Regulations

  • Individual commercials must not exceed 20 seconds
  • Total ad time up to 2 minutes per broadcast segment
  • Abuse of advertising space may lead to restriction
Article VII

Operational Time Windows

Broadcasters are expected to remain active outside downtime windows (example: UTC 00:00–06:00). Exceptions apply for technical issues or Owner authorization.

Article VIII

Freedom with Limits

Allowed: Roleplay, satire, opinion, free style and format.

Not allowed: Fake global emergencies presented as real, structural disruption, or impersonation.

Articles IX – XIII

Channel 1 (CH1) & Global Broadcasting

CH1 is a dedicated global broadcast channel operated exclusively by The Orange Puppy (decemberty). It is not public and cannot be used directly by other broadcasters. Its purpose is to deliver global news and coordinate major announcements.

Broadcasting services are fully independent of CH1. If CH1 is offline, broadcasters may continue normal operations without restriction. CH1 does not control the activation, uptime, or permissions of other channels — it exists as a reference point, not a requirement.

Redirection Protocol: Broadcasters may voluntarily redirect viewers to CH1 by displaying a blank screen for approximately 1 minute with the text: "We now recommend you looking CH1 for Global News."

Independent global broadcasting requires explicit authorization from The Orange Puppy via Discord. Unauthorized global broadcasting may be treated as a rule violation depending on context.

Article XIV

Network Structure

The network consists of the Owner and Approved Broadcasters. There are no developers or analysts. Structure is minimal and directly managed.

Article XV

Coexistence

Broadcasters must avoid overwhelming shared space and constant interference with others. Competition is allowed; forced dominance is discouraged.

Article XVI

Enforcement

Enforcement may include: warning, content removal, suspension, and full removal from the network. The Owner may override any enforcement action at any time.

Article XVII

Amendments

This Constitution may be modified at any time by The Orange Puppy (decemberty).

Article XIX

Approval Confirmation Process

Submission of the official form does not grant approval by itself. All applications must be reviewed and explicitly accepted. Approval is only valid after receiving written confirmation from anchoragebroadcasting@gmail.com. Until confirmation is received, the applicant is not approved and broadcasting under ABN is not authorized. Any broadcasting initiated before confirmation may be treated as unauthorized use of the network.

Article XX

Blacklist & Restrictions

ABN maintains the right to blacklist entities that repeatedly violate its structure. Conditions include: repeated unauthorized broadcasting, persistent impersonation, abusive or disruptive behavior, or ignoring prior warnings.

Blacklisted entities may face permanent denial of approval, removal of content, and loss of network visibility. Decisions are made by The Orange Puppy and may be applied immediately in severe cases. Attempts to bypass blacklist status through alternative identities or rebranding will be treated as further violations.
